Hardest games in mame

Just would like to hear from people the hardest games they played. Mine would be defender and sinistar. Was never really good at those but still enjoy playing them.

Battle Lane Vol. 5 is pretty tough. I only recently made it past the first level.

That games reminds me a little of Traverse/ MotoRace USA. I just tried it for the first time and yes I died pretty quick. lol

It's not that hard, it's just a sucky game. (Curiously, the 'mame banner' image of a few pages ago had the Buck Rogers marquee up, and I was thinking 'what a sucky game'. Serendipity.)

I never played the arcade version, but I played the Coleco ADAM version quite a bit. The problem (at least in the Coleco version) is that there's a score multiplier so that the point value of each ship you destroy is multiplied by the level you're on. So if you can manage to survive up to level 20 (I think, don't quote me on it), every enemy ship you kill gives you another extra life. At that point, it's pretty hard to die as long as you shoot something now and then.
