Solar Fox Upright - Scanning Assistance

Ok, so Solar Fox is a complete beast for graphics to scan. Everything is black-light lit, too. The screen in reflected off a mirrored surface that has graphics on it. I've taken out the mirror, but will need to figure out how to scan that it. I know that I tried scanning a mirror before, and failed miserably. Any suggestions?
There's also a bezel that goes around the monitor that is curved, a front bezel, and the instruction panel (that goes at a 90 degree angle to the control panel.
This all works with the artwork that I already scanned for Solar Fox that is in Mess from a few years ago.

There is art printed on the mirror itself? Oh that is harsh. Is it a sticky overlay, or actually printed on?
I would think the only option here is a photograph.

BTW: I don't know how we're going to piece all these artwork pieces together. Major project I'd suspect.
1. Black-lit art - currently in mame. This goes between the monitor and the mirror - behind the mirror and botton of mirror.
2. Black-lit art - shaped like a U that creates the sides and bottom around monitor.
3. Black-lit art on mirror.
4. Front Bezel.
5. Instruction Panel.
6. Control Pannel.

So, this game has art on the mirror and another piece? I'd love to see a photo of what this looks like while running.
EDIT: Never mind. I found some shots. http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showpost.php?p=1099635&postcount=1
That must look amazing running.

I originally bought a caberet model Solar Fox from an auction. It worked when I bought it, but died on the trip home. I then found this cabinet with all the artwork, monitor, but sadly no Board. The upright was only $1.00, so it was worth it. I'll probably take the boards from the Caberet and move them to the upright and get it all to work.
One of the many projects that I've failed to tackle. I've had the 2 non-working machines for over 10 years now
My goal is to scan in the artwork from the upright this weekend. If I get a little extra time, then I'll try to scan the marquee from the caberet as well.
If anyone in Cumming / Atlanta GA wants to come & help feel free to PM

Woot! The mirror actually scanned
Bezel, Mirror, and Instruction Panel complete. Next stop - have to scan in inner bezel.
Also, I have a mini cabinet.... have to see about scanning the bezel and such from that one too.

Completed! The following are being uploaded to Mr.Do for stitching and cleanup:
Solar Fox Upright: Bezel, Inner Bezel, Mirror, Instruction Panel Solar Fox Cabaret: Bezel, Marquee, Instruction Panel
Everything was scanned in 1200 DPI.
Note: I rescanned most of the inner bezel, since there was some dust on it. Included the dusty scans for reference.

Maybe JC edited it after you posted, but... isn't the piece with the blue ships mirror?
And looking at that cab... it looks like I have the backdrop upside-down in the current artwork?
Everything came out great, btw.
The inner bezel is giving me a headache, though, so I'll finish tomorrow.

Awesome! I'll take a look at the backdrop and see if it is upside down or not.
Now, I need to clean up the cabinet and get solar fox running in my arcade

Sorry to bring up an old topic, but was this completed with all the parts? I've only been able to find the back "space" bezel.
Thanks for the help.

No... not all, I scanned all the parts a long time ago (over a decade I think), but nobody has taken up the challenge to piece them all together. I have both a Cabaret and Full-Size Solar Fox cabinets, and the full-size has been in pieces for years. I really would like to get it fully working some day and into my basement arcade. The other option is to sell them, if someone wants an arcade project.

They need pieced together in Photoshop? How many parts is it? I'd be willing to give it a go, although there are a lot of guys out there that are more skilled than I. I noticed it had been about ten years since this topic started, so be happy to help things along if I can.

@Drybonz
Yes, they were all scanned on a canon scanner at 1200 DPI. I uploaded them to Mr.Do's FTP in 2012. I don't believe that I personally saved the raw images, due to the large image size at the time. I can take pictures of the cabinet and all the pieces to show where they go and how they are layered together.
Mr.Do did a great job on the backdrop by stitching my scans and adjusting the colors for backdrop. There is also a bezel, inner bezel, and mirror, which is not included in the MAME artwork, but scanned and uploaded back in 2012. It's not going to be an easy job. The Inner bezel is curved. The artwork system in MAME from 2012 was not very sophisticated and couldn't handle the complex layering, like it does today.
It's truly quite incredible with blacklights.
I also have the full artwork for the Cabaret, but I don't remember if I scanned that one or not. I must have... but it's out in the garage and hasn't moved in probably 12-15 years.
