Took all of three seconds for me to catch a near miss. People are silly.

That crossing does seem a bit sketchy... Out of the 8 or so people I saw cross only 3 looked both ways first. The rest just stepped out and prayed the traffic would stop. One pair actually taking a picture (least they looked). Hey cool and one drug deal.
I also love the turn up on the road ahead. People racing up on it then breaking.... Wonder over the years how many people have ended up in that wall...

The cars are on the wrong side of the road.

I always wonder how it would be to drive in a country where they drive on the left. I feel like I'd get killed the first time I tried to make a right hand turn. Maybe sitting on the opposite side of the car would make it more intuitive?

You know they only do it so they can knock each other out of their cars with javelins.

I find driving on the left natural (from India, live in Australia - it's what I'm used to). I find in countries where I have to drive on the right, I'm OK in a car because sitting on the other side of the vehicle reminds me of where I'm supposed to be, and I'm OK on a bike on a busy street because I follow the traffic. On a bike on a quite street I find myself slowly drifting to the left all the time.
