A lucky missing chunk affords a cross sectional view of the bowl dig's base in progess, not even cut through the center, this is just a tangent even!

Dang Gat, you've made a lot of headway. Popped onto the server for a few yesterday to check it out, just crazy mang. Killed a bunch of creeps in the upper bowl from the ground level walkway too - looks like a lot of mobs are getting stuck in the holes there

I'll see if I can do some contract labor for you on the dig again. I promise that I'll try to dig in the right direction this time, honest. Heh.

The evil Jens has fired an ice beam at your land.

It also hit the edge of Jer's farm.

So the danger zone is passed, for now (another coming, but not right away).

Also, you need to move one or more portals, it seems. That shouldn't affect placement of their mates.

I need to find a reason for my poor connection. It's really slowing down my own progress.

How much bigger is that thing going to get? I'm eventually going to be running a rail line through the area, I'll need to know how wide a berth to give it.

Maybe wipe out your cached .jar files?

No bigger than it already is. It's perimeter hasn't really changed... I made it only one or two pixels/blocks bigger recently just to make the "circle" of it more symetrical... which is why a couple portals now are free-floating, but that's an easy fix.

As far as how big it is subteranean... the outer most contours of it... it's "bowl" shape, is already carved out... all I need to do is clean out the center, so you would know it if you ran in to it... you'll feel an overwhelming rush of cool air.

A rail station nearby would be great!

If D runs his line nearby (he's heading for Portal Station, AFAIK), I'd gladly redstone in some auto-switching for that.

I think...

  • Non-stop D > PS
  • PS > G
  • G > PS | D (1-button select & launch)

... would be the way to do that, if both parties agree. Otherwise you need another line in to Portal Station, looping under or over it to link to the spare Track C that I've got waiting for another line (it needs to run out the south side of the station due to lack of space both in the wiring and station layout).

Hmm... Or I could carve out the walls some more, move myself to Track C, D from Track B to Track D, and you to Track B. But if you can link into D's rail, everything's already laid out at PS (except for a sign).

BTW, the lower Skels have a footpath to the Zombs, where there's a track to J or PS. J's stations are currently only partly (or not at all in one case) automated, and I think other parties are off-network entirely.

D: Nope, I cleared out all the old files, and even the new weekly builds. Wondering if there's something internety going on.

The sign sounds like something I can handle

I took this as somewhat of a challenge

My home station is now fully automated on all lines: Zombie/PS, Jungle, and Camp Melon are all now bush-button selectable from the one terminal. Even works both ways, heh.

Getting the timing down for the Zombie/Jungle switch was a major PITA; the timing circuit is about 125m long, and I had to use some redstone torches as monitors to see what it was doing and when. It may still need a little tweaking to avoid lag shunts, but that's easy to do now just by playing with repeater delay.

Cool. I wasn't going to mess with your stuff, unless you specifically asked.

A bit longer than the one we had done for the ex-spawn then. Spider is still manual?

So we have 8 connected stations, 1 disconnected station, and 2 more planned stations that may make the first loop. You're actually sitting on the only currently functioning hub with your 3 available choices; Portal Station is only a waypoint until it gets another track, despite the switching complex.

Could be, we're certainly got plenty of zombies.
