-- TourVision PC-Engine based JAMMA PCB PC-Engine based arcade board from the Spanish company TourVision. Two known hardware revisions, one with a sub-board with the PC-Engine chipset and the other as an integrated PCB. --
Congrats to the folks working with the hardware and getting good results (data preserved) and hardware documented as well. Hopefully it will be supported in MAME sometime later.
I wonder if it will have its own support file or be another addition to the already existing United Amusement PC-Engine based hardware file.

If only an actual ParasolStars cab can be found to finally resolve that mystery....even though it probably was a modified bootleg hardware running the game at the time.

Looks like TourVision has an 8085 sub-CPU to handle the coinage/time limits/etc. so it won't just slot into the existing PCE hardware. Don't imagine it'll take too long for someone to hook it up though.

I meant Parasol Stars in response to gregf's post. Another "where to draw the line" discussion I guess.

Heh. Pardon about that, I wanted to throw Parasol Stars in my post for the heck of it since it is still on wanted list.
Okay. So I see TourVision will get its own support files if and when supported at a later time. Anyway good to see the work by Charles and Guru from years earlier will pay off eventually.

It's new, but I reused an old blog entry, I'm that lazy.
