Well...
What could be the internal LAY file is attached, but...
The current driver is attached to a color monitor. Checking a manual available online, the game came with a color monitor.
Driver would need to be updated to choose a B/W monitor (like in Space Zap).
I've seen other versions before with this overlay, so I know it's not unique.

Started the bezel. If you are from the Space Invaders era, give this one a whirl. One of my favorites. Anyhoo here goes.......
