Hoops '96 HELP!

How to enter TEST MODE in Hoops '96(Europe/Asia 2.0) ?
By default it's in 4 players mode, I wanna play in 2 players mode(first against second player). F2 resets the machine ?! - Please help !
P.S. I am using 0.144 MAME.

Strange. I can insert coins, but can't start a game or enter any service modes.

Looks like some possible bug.

Thanks for Your answer.
It says :
00423: hoops96: If you press the F2 key, the game crashes. (It resets as of 0.123u3)
Over 20 releases and the bug is still there ?!

It's not a bug - just press a P1/P2/P3/P4 Button1 (For Player One Ctrl is default)
