Meh, I am a total, close-minded, traditionalist when it comes to guitars. Six strings, passive pickups (none, on an acoustic), and the only thing that goes between the guitar and the amp is a cord. *Maybe* a wah or a fuzz box in very specific applications, but that's it.
I've never been a huge Carvin fan, either. They're supposed to be nice for the money and very customizable, but I'll take a Mexican Tele for the same money any day of the week.
