There were multiple issues which all converged at once to cause this much downtime - you just have to laugh sometimes

DNS still seems a bit flaky... the site worked for a few moments, then account suspended reappeared. Lucky I had the address so added it to hosts, and got back again, although it seems a little slow atm.

Very glad it's back. Whenever I have two minutes of downtime at work, I pop in and scan the forums. I was starting to go crazy of the last couple of days, Twitter is only entertaining for so long.
It was a little longer that usual this time, I was starting to worry that this was the end.

Heh. I had thought my own username/ip was banned following a night of atrocious debauchery about a week ago. Phew. I don't even remember much of that night and was hoping to read the idiotic posts I had made. Or had thought I made.....
