IGT Player's Edge Games not holding Video Settings

Hi guys,
Just curious if this is broken in the current build. If I open any of the IGT Player's Edge poker, blackjack, slots, or keno games, I tab into Video options and select 4:3 ratio to fill my screen. I play it and all is well. Once I exit out, and re-enter the game, it's back to a widescreen look (black bars on top and bottom). In previous versions of MAME this seemed to work fine once it was set.
Any help would be appreciated.
