Whatsnew:
* 1.20 24/08/2011: Added to docs directory, the file "allMESS_WIP". That lists, version by version, all the additions and changes made; it is a pre-pre-release with only 7 MESS examined (the first 3 and last 4).
* 1.21 26/08/2011: Aligned file to 0.143u4 version. Fixed some minor errors. Updated "allMESS_WIP".

Hi AntoPisa,
since 0.143u4 there was no MessUI anymore.
So how can I display messinfo.dat and your snapshots without an UI or GUI???
And did you know why messui was removed??? thats "fuck" to play all the stuff by typing in command line. Fells like good old DOS.

yes I have qmc2 installed for a few days. but the actual download version (0.2b20) don't support snapshot folder and no software lists. only messinfo.dat was actually displayed 
I know that the actual svn 0.34 r3127 or newer support many new features including the software lists but you must compile the svn byself and I'm not confirm in compiling.
And I know that robbert from mess team added the old UI code code to actual mess 0143u4 that brings back the messui BUT you must compile it byself... *grr*
You can download the source code including messui in mess forum.
It would be nice if somebody can compile the new qmc2 svn and mess 0143u4 including messui.

You don't need MESSUI as QMC2 is a complete replacement for it other than in emulation menus or mouse clicks IDK exactly.
QMC2 development is very active with constant improvements happening everyday, so it's puzzling why people still spend time to make MESSUI function, when it was removed from the source for some rather obvious reasons that were stated by others.
You can find recent compiled builds posted on bannister forums. google "QMC2 - MAME/MESS Frontend"
If you wish to learn compiling your own I have a help thread there you can post in and I will assist you in doing that.

Update 1.23 (based on MESS 0.143u4) of messinfo.dat is available at: progetto-SNAPS MESSINFO.DAT.
Whatsnew:
* 1.22 29/08/2011: Added information about content and size of the added or updated BIOS of MESS 0.143u4: have this information now to 19% of the total.
* 1.23 30/08/2011: Updated the SVN until August 29, 2011 (r12733). Extended and corrected the file "allMESS_WIP.txt".
