I know the ship is already on Mr. Do's artwork site, albeit un-animated, it would be neat to eventually get some hi-res motion caps of this rad ship somehow used in MAME.
Some guy is selling this for too much on Flea Bay currently if anyone is restoring their machine.

I’m convinced Mario is a hobo.
He wakes up everyday in the same clothes, runs around in sewers, and collects coins for a living.
At the end of the day, he uses the coins to buy mushrooms

It'd be very cool. But I never saw any animated artwork in Mame besides some blinking buttons in Mr.Who(witch I find very cool, but It's a shame that the artwork is lowres).
I've hope that some dev will actually develop a new artwork system to support 3d artwork(goodby Pinmame).
