I don't think this has been posted before. But I do recall something about doing away with polygons and just using billions of (or however many) points so that even high-end games could be played on ghetto machines. ![](//www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif)

These guys are re-marketing voxels. Remember the NovaLogic games in the early 90s? Apache, Comanche, other stuff ending with -che?

Don't forget Outcast! - that was Awesome (once you'd down loaded the 'patch' that was as big as the game itself because the installer on the disk was broken!)
