i noticed that in metal slug 2, mame emulates the neo-geo mvs slowdowns.
i read in a forum, you can modify the cpu clock speeds enabling the cheats, but were exactly you set up that options

On commandline:
mame mslug2 -cheat
While in game, press TAB for menu; choose "Slider Controls," and the option is there

RELAX and just have fun. Remember, it's all about the games.
