Robin is a huge arcade fan. He came to our arcade in 1997 for a few hours with Zelda and Howie Mandel (didn't know Howie back then) Robin autographed my tool pouch, played Time Crisis, Lethal Enforcers, NBA Jam, got his quarters stuck in Area 51 (stupid Coin Co. acceptors) and we hooked him up with Dactyl Nightmare and Ghost Train on the Virtuality SU2000. He's a quiet fellow that doesn't mind being out in public and his body guard was hella nice. They just showed up one day out of the blue and spent a bunch of money.

Really? You do know he was an actor and comedian for decades before he was a gameshow host, right? He was pretty big when stand-up was hot in the early/mid 80s.

I check his imdb profile, and the only thing pre-1997 that I remember seeing him in is Walk Like
a Man. I see he was Gizmo's voice as well as various Muppet Babies, but I wouldn't have known
that had I not just read it.

Yup, must've somehow missed it. I was a fan of Robin Williams stand up stuff in the 80's. Will have to look for some old Howie footage. I think he still had hair in '97...(?)
