I ran accross a website onetime that had 32bit installers for these two old games.
Anyone ever heard of anything similar?

"Problem with the nice games below is the fact that they use old InstallShield technology which relies on a 16-bit installer. The 16-bit subsystem, however, is gone in Windows XP64 and Vista x64. The games themselves, however, run smoothly; it's just a matter to get them installed in the first place."
So what are the options if you have 64bit windows and you want to run anything old and 16bit-ish DosBOX or some kind of VM image of XP?

Thats about it. I keep a couple of XP VM's for just that. Trick is the junk they drop in the registry. The registry stuff is fairly easy to find. Better yet some sort of DRM driver (a pox on them).
You can also keep an old copy of xp around on an old computer and try to move it around. As sometimes the installers will install slightly different versions of themselves depending on your video card.
