MAME32: Hasn't existed for years. Windows Vista: Sucks balls for gaming. Even its built-in card games are buggy, to the point that Spider sometimes doesn't even let you drag cards (e.g. you have a row with a 6 at the bottom, but the stupid game won't highlight the 5-4-3-2 you have so you can move them). Freecell has a memory leak, so the more times you play it in a row, the slower it gets. Hearts has more CPU players cheating than Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and Mario Kart Double Dash put together. And Solitaire is plain crap anyway. Apparently they didn't fix the bugs for Windows 7 either.

If you actually downloaded MAME32, that's your problem. MAME32 was renamed MAMEUI several years ago. This means MAME32 no longer works with current ROMs. You need the latest MAMEUI.

EasyEmu is linked from the MAMEWorld front page.
I remember how MAME was overwhelming to me at first. It's worth the effort to go through the guide; wouldn't want a newbie to be turned off such a terrific resource.
(Not like the frigging twats at Dolphin.)
