I was offered a job at the company I've been trying to join since last October. Finally things all fell into place and I've got the job. At slightly better pay too. That gigantic weight I've been carrying for the past 6 years is finally off my back.
And tomorrow, I get to tell my boss that I'm out of there, effective immediately.

So you decided I wasn't completely loony when I said to quit and get a better job, huh? Well, good luck with it, and please don't try to hunt me down if it doesn't turn out so well.
I had 2 interviews with the new place in the last couple weeks, and almost a week of waiting for the answer. Needless to say I've been a lump of short nerves lately.
I haven't walked off a job since I was 15. It feels good when you've got all the cards in your hand.
