What are you doing to prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse?
#254988 - 05/19/11 08:09 PM

Zombie Apocalypse

Personally, I'm learning all the rules of survival, and making a list of all the hot chicks in my area I'd double-tap when the apocalypse hits.

My Mormon friends also directed me to Beprepared.com to hoard up on survival gear (I didn't know survival was one of the tenents of Mormon religion... who knew?).

I was born and raised Mormon but fell away around when I was 18 and have been anti-religion, agnostic since. I have several family members who are still very active members.

Survival is very important for Mormons and each are supposed to have their own supplies covered for at least 72 hours, or more realistically, about 3 months worth. I lived in a home with food and water storage that also included tents, dried foods, fire arms, clothing, toiletries, etc. I actually support this, and recommend that everyone do it if they can just simply for times of natural disasters, economic hardship, or just general preparedness.

We both, across the great world wide web, had the idea for the same topic on the same forum. Mine, having multiple links and photos and goodies, just took a few extra minutes to compile. Factor that in, and there it is... simultaneous thoughts simultaneously posted about the Zombie Apocalypse... either we're mentally linked, or this is yet another sign the Apocalypse is real, and is near!

What are you thinking... right... NOW!

I'm thinking, "What a douche." No, not really. I was actually thinking maybe you saw it on the CNN

Seriously, I can stand zombies everywhere. But it would be a bad thing for humanity if "shining under the sun" vampires or metrosexual werewolves could get the same attention. If the later happens we're really f**ked.

I did not know that. So when your holdout finally gets overrun, SLC is the place to head when you make a run for it. Good to know, good to know.

Yeah... the firearms are to kill the people trying to get the supplies, not the zombies. They have 3 months worth for themselves, and they're going to need to stretch that out to 5 months. There won't be any to spare.

I always figured Costcos would be the perfect holdouts. You've got everything you need for several thousand people in a brick compound.

Sounds like a good plot to a horror movie to me.
