I think it first appeared in Windows Vista. Pretty nifty.
Running it just now, I realize what a horrible virus the HP printer/scanner "drivers" are, eating up memory, CPU, and even network bandwidth for no apparent reason.

The biggest crime is that at one time HP was an engineering company that made great products.

If I'm not mistaken, HP is soon releasing one or more tablet competitors to Motorola Xoom, Blackberry Playbook and of course iPad. Does it follow that HP's products should be avoided, due to near-universal complaints about customer support?

I'll be very surprised if the HP tablet is not a steaming turd with an LCD screen mounted on it.
