ever since mame cought my eye,ive always wondered when will there be a perfect mame and what year will mame finally be in its perfection.you know when all drivers are perfectly emulated.i believe mame will be in its perfection around 2083.by then we will be in a hollodeck with a windows 19 emulator capable of playing segas rambo or terminator salvation like donkey kong and galaga today. and as we sip our new future beverages,we think of the good old days when pcs would screw up or viruses plaged our glourious internet.ahhhh and then we will turn on our new nintendo portable system nintendo XD57 which by then nintendo bought out all companies.music and movies would be free due to obamas great grandson passing the media freewill act 457 law.thats what i dream about.

Other things to add to this topic:
1. The NEOGEO bios by that time, will have gone through its 200th revision.
2. Full sound speech emulation still won't be supported for Wizard Of Wor, Gorf, Q*Bert, Q*Bert's Qubes, Reactor.
3. Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II, Space Ace, and Crazy Otto still won't be allowed to be added despite 100% fully working drivers at full speed.
4. To run today's arcade games in MAME (not yet supported), years or decades later, we're going to need a octa-Xenohertz processor.
