TX, got it, and so far I just don't like it.

Cannot upgrade Ad-ons - it takes me to an #%$^$^ ad page when I try, and you have to locate a "miniscule" drop-down in the top right to do the "check for updates". Just UPGRADE my #%$^$^ ad-ons when I click Tools -> Ad-ons, OK ?

And, I hate this trend towards hiding menus until you hit the ALT key. Tear off menus, auto-hiding menus, ribbon bars - NO thanks ! Just give me software that I can use.

Edit: right mouse click on the menu and check the menu bar - the menus stay visible now. That's one poxy "feature" sorted.

The interface is very tweakable, you can move the gui elements around and stuff. I got it just the way I like it, which is exactly how Firefox 3 was.

Eh, I dunno, it seems OK so far.

They seem to be moving toward deprecating the Bookmarks Toolbar, which I'm not too sure about. I appreciate wanting to maximize the space for displaying pages, but there are some sites I like having one click away that don't need to be loaded and ready to go all the time in an App Tab.

I'm also torn about the add-on bar at the bottom. Again, I like having the screen real estate, but my Twitter doodad lives down there and I'm not sure I want to give it up. I may try the Twitter site as an app tab and see how that works.

Some of the apps that do this are awful (cough, cough... Windows Media Player), but I like this. The condensed menu has most of the stuff I use regularly, and everything else is pretty easy to get to.

The one thing I don't get... what am I supposed to do with Tab Groups? Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I tend to only have one page open at a time. I'll pop open a link or two in a new tab, read them, then close them. I very rarely have more than 3-4 tabs open at a time.

Also, Mozilla needs to suck it up and rename "Private Browsing" to "Porno Mode". I mean, really, what else do you use it for?

My personal best is 309 tabs on Firefox 3.6 spread across 5 windows, but I haven't been able to hit that in a while due to increased memory and CPU usage brought on by continual updates. :-/

Primary way to organize that many tabs is to have installed "Colorful Tabs" and "Tab Mix Plus", set up each tab to get no smaller than the favicon in Tab Mix Plus, and allow tabs to be displayed in multiple rows (I can handle up to five). After that, sorting roughly by website, and try to pick the right tab you want by favicon and color combination. Of course, Ctrl-Tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab become your friend...

But my typical surfing session is between 20-40 open tabs.

I believe I went that high because of an ongoing search or two, combined with opened tabs for messages I wanted to reply to on various forums and social networking sites. I still have the session saved (using "Session Manager").

Too complicated. I prefer having my tabs displayed as images in a sidebar, but 4 broke that add-on. Rarely do I have more than a dozen, and that dozen is a list of web comics, so they get a few seconds each before I'm back to 3-4.
