System 16 has been updated again, playing catchup with some of the newer games, but a few gems from the past as well

It's a cart that emulates the GD-ROM and DIMM board, so I give him 1/2 credit

It's nice that people focus on the positives of an update.

How does that work, and why did they do that?

one of the reason is gd-rom production was stopped, so cart had to be used again.

Wow, i'm glad to see that so many games that have come out in 2011. If only there were a place around here I could actually play one.
I'd especially like to see the 3D Metal Gear Solid.

One additional scan file from a stock photo that may have been used for Gran Trak 10 flyer advertisement for Gran Trak 10. An item for the Atari non-cpu page in case this has any benefit being on System 16 web site. This will be on Discrete Logistics later in some future update.
The scanned TIF file is over 120Mb in size for those curious.

The manufacturer of a part used by SEGA in their gd-rom device has been discontinued. A 3rd party came up with a way to run gd-rom games from a cart.
