That's more an Easter thing, that's when he rose from the dead - lent is where Jesus battled with the devil in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights (spot the atheist who they tried to bring up catholic!)

It's kind of weird, I pretty much stopped being a practicing Catholic in college but somehow I still observed the whole "no meat on Fridays during Lent" thing for a long time afterward. That one was really ingrained for some reason.

Yeah, pretty easy to spot, since the 40 days and nights in the desert is way earlier in the story.
