it takes much self restraint for me to not simply take a 30 minute walk and go buy one right now... even though whatever games are out for it are prolly Japanese only

yep.
the launch lineup will start off slow, but the 5 star titles will build up quickly and the 3ds will not be able to be ignored.
kid icarus is already shaping up to be sin & punishment wrapped in an 8-bit franchise titan.
