will there be any artwork to give more of a backlight impression in a tron cabinet?something like an overlay to light up the surrounding buttons, joystick and the like? now that would be cool!
|
I’m convinced Mario is a hobo.
He wakes up everyday in the same clothes, runs around in sewers, and collects coins for a living.
At the end of the day, he uses the coins to buy mushrooms

You mean adding that purple piece and the control panel below the screen?

RELAX and just have fun. Remember, it's all about the games.

You know, the microscopic playing screen barely detracts from the blacklight and joystick visuals. This might be prefect for a new build of Mame which doesn't focus as much on the playing screen so much as the peripheral ambiance, like black lights and whatnot... you could call it Light Ambiance Mediated Environment MAME, or LameMAME for short.
Another good option would be overlays like this one...
I know the playing screen is still kind of prominent, and there aren't really any lights, but it still fits into the whole "unplayable while still capturing the whole ambiance" theme, so hopefully you'd be willing to inlcude this overlay in LameMAME as well.
All in good fun, Lady, all in good fun.
