Someone explain to me Tamarindo Spoons, and why I should eat them.

It's a cheap candy we buy just for tasting something sweet after lunch or when school finishes. For that purpose there's also "jicaletas" (a Jicama slice in a stick with chilly and candy), "lengüetas" (candy similar to tamarindo spoons but between two plastic layers) and "ollitas" (more tamarindo and chilli sweet but in a small plastic container).
