I'm happy for the guy but to throw a bunch of money at him, job, and a house and think he'll be fine is usually not how it works. I hope that part of his new life includes counseling and rehab, otherwise he might find himself right back where he was before.

Is anyone really surprised by that, though? He was homeless and is an admitted alcoholic and drug addict, and his rap sheet is full of the kinds of crimes homeless junkies commit. It's not like he was a serial killer or something.

But if he's served his time, I have no problem with his past. People WILL keep bringing it up though.
