well crap (deleted some hosted stuff)

i accidentally blew this site away at the same time i upgraded my account, therefore, my hosted backups aren't available, but i could do a tape recovery for 150$.
i got the html page back from google cache, but i'm still looking for images. i don't think i have backups. is there any voodoo magic available? i'm not paying $150.

Did you visit yourself recently enough for them to be in your own browser cashe? Did you have them on your own HD recently enough that an undelete app like recurva might work?
Just going through the obvious ones...

You could ask around at the various sites if anyone archived it.

Otherwise, you could eat the $150. :-/
Or... does the page date after 2008 sometime? Then you can wait a few years and The Internet Archive might have it. You might be able to travel to their headquarters to see if they've archived it already, something that requires researcher access.
Can't believe you don't have a local site backup...
