The objects. Beach chairs, huh? Okay, that makes this even more confusing... Thanks!
(And YES, I've been to the beach. We just use towels and fold-up aluminum framed chairs here.

We call them "Strandkorb", which literally means "beach basket". They are very common along our Baltic Sea coast.
