.01-.30 era UI font available as a True Type font?

Did anyone ever make (or know of) a True Type font that matches the internal UI from the earlier eras of Mame say .17 to .3x? Now that direct system font support is in I'd like to look at retro-ing it again. Thanks -

That looks like I remember, thanks.  I haven't seen it since then so I may have to re-download and compare.. unless someone has a screenshot handy from builds of that time period.
Attached the freeware font.

This was still being used in .104 . Ain't been that long.

You're not running it in 8-bit mode? Prehistoric versions of MAME supported just about anything and everything from 256-color 386es up.
