Democratic elections nowadays are just that, popularity contests. Whatever they meant to be in the beginning, it's lost in the dust of times.

But do they? Sure, she has some very vocal supporters, but what has she really accomplished politically?
She was elected governor of Alaska, not exactly the most mainstream state. Then she was picked as the Vice Presidential nominee and was beaten fairly decisively. Since then? Nothing but hype. Yes, she might even be able to ride the hype to a GOP nomination, but I can't believe she could ever get enough mainstream support to carry the general election. Call me naive, but I just can't believe middle-American independents could be that stupid.

Funny, since 9/11 everyone wants to kill people they hate like that (figurative sense or not). Difference is Osama's followers couldn't fit everyone into a plane.

I knew i shouldn't have look for that on YouTube, now i'm wishing the same. And for that guys, i quit watching TV from regularly to once in a while in 2002 (the year the first "Big Brother" came out). The peek of my "i'm tired of this shitty format" mood was reached when i turned to Animal Planet, just to find out a woman narrating a documentary about two young captive lions released to the wild as a reality show between cut scenes.
