"These are amazing, but I do have a tip to save you some $$$. I recommend buying the refurbished model for only $4999.99. It is ALMOST as good as brand new"
LMAO... Because you know any magnetism can bend the laser and distort the bits.
I noticed the other day that Best Buy is getting into the BS overpriced cables racket. Not quite at the level of some of these, but they have a house brand now that's clearly intended to "compete" with Monster Cables. $39 for a mini-USB cable, I just laughed and walked out. Bad enough I had to pay $15 for a Belkin cable because I needed one in a hurry.
Uh, CDs are polycarbonate with aluminum evaporated in a very thin layer for reflectivity. I don't think any material used to manufacture a CD is magnetic. So how do you demagnetize something that is not magnetized? Clueless bastards.

Some species of audiophile are just incredible tards. Patent medicines for the lot of them.
"See this system here? It's HI-FI, high fidelity. what that means is that it's the highest quality fidelity. I have this unit in my home. Yes, I do. But, of course, I got it modified with the TK421. Which kicks it up another...3 or 4...quads per channel"

Yeah. I stopped a co-worker just before he dropped $40 on a cable. He couldn't believe it when I offered to sell him a spare, Monoprice cable I had for $6 (which was slightly more than I paid for it).
