LMAO at the Kombi on fire.
I owned one for a few years and used to go camping in it on cliffs and hill tops almost every weekend (back in my hang gliding days). A great vehicle, but when it broke down it cost a $$$ fortune to repair.
Air cooled car motors just aren't good in Australia, even down south in the cooler regions.
I used to wonder why every second-hand "Kombi For Sale" ad in the paper used to say "reconditioned engine" - and then I found out why ...
