there is this site that claims they are selling a "exact" scale model of a Bubble Bobble Cab. Now, I cannot find any evidence that a real Bubble Bobble cab looks like this, does anyone know if there was indeed a cab like that one?, any info on it?
If this is not true, does anyone have a good resolution pic of a real cab?

Bubble Bobble was only ever sold as a conversion kit (pcb, marquee, instruction cards, CP stickers).
The bezel on that model is a homebrew done by one of the guys at BYOAC some years ago.

One thing, does it work?
Wish I still had my Coleco VFD mini-arcade. It was the Galaxian one, and there was a switch to change the game mode from Galaxian to Space Invaders.

Ah, that explains it... thanks.
It seems strange it was only a conversion kit, given it was such a good game.

My wife totally got me one for my birthday a few months ago. It's in really nice shape, considering its age. All of the stickers are intact and it still works great. She bought it just as a geeky cool collectible, but it's actually pretty fun to play.

My one got dropped in about 1991 and never worked properly again. The VFD screen ended up wrecked on it.
