Knew a dude that had a finger like that. Asked him about it. He said it had been severed off and reattached. It did not bend anymore but did not hurt. Considering she is cheerleader she probably at one point had it crushed and it healed weird.

Yep, my little finger is like that - old sports injury - but bent down, not to the sides.
