lucky: getting an early copy of COD:Black Ops
unlucky: not being able to play the game this weekend because of drill
After playing COD for a little bit last night, I can safely reaffirm that I suck at FPS games, especially on Xbox. Some of my thoughts about the game:
* There are no bots in offline multiplayer. There is a mode called Combat Training with bots, but I think you have to login to Xbox Live to access it. I have an Xbox Live Silver (not Gold) account, but I didn't login with it for fear of being accused of piracy or something like that.
* There was a menu option for 3D mode. I'm going to try to figure out if the Xbox or PS3 can be do 3D without being connected to the internet (maybe with with a downloadable firmware update that can be put on a flash drive) and then try to find a 3D TV to use.
