Teh Epic Bin Repost Thread
#236769 - 10/19/10 05:11 PM Attachment: lotr.jpg 371 KB (0 downloads)

Hi people, I'm back.

And how could it be better than with an epic repost. So since I'm a natural born thread starter, I'm starting a thread so you can also do a repost. Rules? None. Suggestions? Well, the intention is that everyone reposts their favourite Bin moment. It can be a repost of something one did, or other binner did. It can be a repost of a repost. It can be text, an image or animation, a youtube vid, a link, or just explaining which was your fav bin moment.

I remember dearly one time when I started a thread with the title "I see a little silhouetto of a man (nt)" because I was manic with Bohemian Rhapsody by then, and next day almost every regular and not so reg was singing along the lyrics in the thread. I remember I once tried it with another song, but with which song could it have worked so well and naturally than with Bohemian Rhapsody and starting with that verse?

But the repost I'm doing is not that one. Neither "MAME is a condom" or "Thank you, Internet" which IMHO received positive feedback. Instead, I think I should repost something from someone else. Something EPIC. Jop, I love you (well, most of the times).

"Run thine asses. Haste."

My favourite moment is also a Jop moment. Ringy-o. Nuff said.

This one wasn't from here but the old mame.net forum. Remember when someone posing as doctor posted kudos about MAME, but insisted that it would be so much better if there was was sound. Everybody kept telling him that there is sound and he acted like there wasn't. It was funny as hell. Anybody have a copy of that?

I searched through some of my own old posts and I can't believe how two-dimensional I was am. A majority of my posts were are about the Phoenix Suns or pictures of women. It's good that I've grown up since then stayed exactly the same.

Anyway, here's a funny sound clip from 2002.

Everybody post an emoticon if you wish Faz, gondo, or any of the old batch from '01 were still around

I don't have the text, but I always like that one post where gregf referenced pineapple pizzas and hello kitty purses. I thought that single post was epic.

What I'd most like to see again is that animation Smit made of all our faces morphing into one another set to that 'so many colours in the homo rainbow' song
But I don't have that archived, all I have is Smit and jop singing a song about 'Domino Man' being added to MAME, so, errr, enjoy!

I liked the one posted by Anjera... The one where she was pissed off about something.

Here's a little put-together for you. The original was a gif with a wav looping in the background but Firefox won't do it so I can't do bg sounds anymore. Anyway it's mostly people who aren't around anymore. :-(

Well, it's in the Officially Unofficial Bin Speak Dictionary (release pending, patent pending, pendant pending), which I did read with lots of laughs before making this post... Anyway I do remember the post, which was alsomely milestonic. Yus.

There have been so many epic and milestone posts that once Twisty was considering making another Loony Bin in the parallel universe.

However I can understand why you got blind by the greatness of such post and disregard any other as "epic". But you should go into a nuthouse to repair the damage before it's too late, because one of these days something bigger could happen and you will not be able to appreciate it at its alsome fullest.
