Decapping donations

can anybody tell if is the Dr. Decapitator is active? it is important I know for my future donations...

He seems to come and go. He'll hammer through dozens of chips in a short time and then disappear for months. Now is a period of disappearance.

After the last massively spectacular haul he did, he may be gone for years.

I understood that he did a lot of the work "on credit" so we (MAME community) owe him money for work he has already done... meaning active or not shouldn't affect anyone's decision about future donations.

money talks. send the Dr. $2500 per day (his general reverse-engineering fee as per the decapping web site Q/A) and you'll get chips coming out as fast as diarrhea. hope you're not reading this while eating
