I have done a custom build of MAME4droid to work better on Meta Quest devices.
It is only a 2D android application that does not use the oculus SDK ...

Maybe you are enabled "Use simple UI" option. If you enable it then it will be used the old MAME UI instead the cabinet one.

All mame4ios are based on 0.139. It's the same. 1.6 is newer than 1.3.
Imame4all is based on 0.37b5 and mame4ios is based on 0.139u1

No. On 4.3 needs improvements yet. Low latency it is only on some devices. But probably the latency is fine for most of users.
