Looks really nice The only thing I wish they could do with the bloom effects, is make the laser blasts in Asteroids & asteroids deluxe brighter (AAE is an example of how that effect is used). As it is now, the laser shots are just small dots that are really hard to see

That is a must and I think it will be the default for now on new builds.
I would also suggest you change the phosphor_life to 0.6500000,0.6500000,0.6500000 for games like asteroids and asteroids deluxe. You get the trails from the bullets. Other vector games I have it set to default.

how can I change the color to get this bluer effect in Asteroids Deluxe like in AnotherArcadeEmulator ? In MAME, it's a bright blue. http://pages.suddenlink.net/aae/ast1.png

Been skyblue or Blue like in the Arcade?
Very confusing. I notice that MAME doesn't show these games right. Look at the second video. Bullets and some of the ships are brighter than the asteroids. On MAME the bullets aren't thick and bright enough. Asteroids and some of the ships should be darker than everything else. Almost everything at the same brightness on MAME.
> like the second video. I remember the arcade looking like that. MAME shows a bright > blue.
Doesn't look like this. I blown this up so it will show better. Asteroids seem darker. The bullets are thick like the rest. But enough of this. I been told no way get it look like that. Can't be fix. Playing it as it is.
Thanks B2K24 for the settings, classic atari vector games look great. I adjusted as noted later in the thread to 1.5 vector beam.
Question: I'm new at using HLSL and I noticed that when reverting back HLSL to 0 in the ini, I can no longer see the color overlay in asteroids deluxe? I deleted cfg and nvram - still cannot see blue overlay despite having it activated in slider options. Any others having this problem after disabling HLSL?
Can anyone else with knowledge of the HLSL system repro this anomaly? Thanks for the help.
